The purpose of the presented investigation was to determine the possibility of application of an injector with a rotaryswinging needle movement for spraying fuels with increased viscosity. An investigation of a typical injector has been performed as well, which made the investigation a comparative one. Diesel fuel, rape oil and mixture of rape oil and diesel fuel were used for the spraying process. The following parameters of macrostructure of the spray have been analyzed: the tip penetration, the cone angle and the area.
