We aimed to investigate the possibility of using parking lots as areas of photovoltaic energy generation to promote the urban circular economy model in the city of Belém, Pará. We used a case of study of the existing photovoltaic solar panels in the parking of the Hangar. We surveyed and identified five regions with viable parking lots for adjustment into photovoltaic systems. The Energy-Water (EW) Nexus identified the main points of this interaction in solar parking, highlighting the feasibility of using the energy generated in the photovoltaic system to enhance the activities of multiple water use, preserving resources and reducing environmental impacts, as it mentioned by the circular economy. Therefore, we identified the feasibility of implementing solar parking lots in the study area as it optimises the use of natural resources and improves the potential of clean energy production for the companies.
