O discurso jurídico midiatizado: análise da denúncia de Deltan Dallagnol contra Lula

We analyze the legal discourse of the Prosecutor of Brazilian Government Deltan Dallagnol in the presentation of the complaint of the Federal Public Ministry against Brazilian former President Lula, in Lava-Jato Operation. We are interested in showing the strategies used by the Prosecutor to organize and legitimize his discourse before public opinion. Our objective is to understand which scenographies were used to convince society to adhere to the discursive universe of this juridical discourse. Our Discourse Analysis uses categories of global scene, generic scene, scenography and validated scene, of Maingueneau (2013). The results point to the construction of a media discourse that presents itself in the form of absolute truth. Before consolidating itself as a formal complaint, the scenography of the Prosecutor’s complaint is aligned with strategies of media spectacularization, positioning him as the main protagonist.
