A principios del siglo XX, la congregacion salesiana llevo a cabo una obra educativa de fuerte contenido social, dedicada a la formacion profesional y moral de ninos y jovenes en condicion de riesgo, que conformaban una de las aristas mas urgentes de la cuestion social. Por medio del analisis del grupo de alumnos formados en las aulas y talleres de la Escuela de Artes y Oficios salesiana, este trabajo aborda la experiencia de ese grupo de menores con la intencion de aproximarse a las distintas situaciones de vulnerabilidad padecidas por una porcion significativa de la poblacion infantil en Cordoba durante la modernidad liberal. Cordoba, Argentina, 1905-1935 By the early 20th century, the Salesians carried out an educational work of strong social content, dedicated to professional and moral formation of children and youth at risk, which were considered one of the most pressing social issues. Through analysis of the student group formed in the classrooms and workshops of the Salesian School of Arts and Crafts, this paper discusses the experience of this group of children, with the intention to approach different situations of vulnerability experienced by a significant portion of children in Cordoba, during the liberal modernity.
