Clanek popisuje způsoby analytickeho stanoveni polyfenolů v pivovarstvi. Metody pro toto stanoveni jsou rozděleny do dvou skupin, analyticke metody pro stanoveni skupin polyfenolů a metody pro stanoveni individualnich polyfenolů. Skupinove metody slouži ke stanoveni anthokyanogenů, tanoidů a flavonoidů. Pro stanoveni jednotlivých polyfenolů je nejrozsiřenějsi metodou HPLC na reverzni fazi s různými druhy detekce. Meně rozsiřena je metoda GC ve spojeni s MS detekci, a to kvůli derivatizaci analytu.
