Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma discussao sobre o conceito de "tragico" na literatura. Para realizar esta discussao, vamos nos concentrar no conceito de "tragico" em alguns momentos da sua historia questionando seus limites e sua propria condicao de "conceito". Este trabalho pretende mostrar que este estudo pode contribuir para a compreensao do universo dramatico e produzir uma reflexao sobre a natureza da propria literatura.
