The research of Latin and Greek in contemporary trade names of human medicines belongs to a much discussed field of onomastics—chrematonymy—that is, the onymic material in the study of proper names of some industrial, handicraft, individual and serial products that are not permanently connected with a specific landscape, the so-called chrematonyms. 1 It requires not only linguistic knowledge, but is tightly connected with other disciplines such as sociology, psychology, history, sciences or economics.
