Received: 18 June 2019 Accepted: 22 August 2019 The purpose of the paper is to explore the slip and cross diffusion impacts on unsteady MHD convective flow past an elongated surface which includes chemical reaction and stratification. The similarity transform is adopted to transfigure the nonlinear PDEs to nonlinear ODEs and then the solution is obtained by Runge-Kutta integration procedure with shooting method. Numerically determined solutions are presented through graphs. The analysis is made for local skin friction, local Nusselt number and local Sherwood number numerically. It is found that thermal slip and thermal stratification diminished the heat transfer rate for both suction/injection.
