Diseño estratégico del sistema de distribución para el proyecto de empresa Food Service S.A.

The main goal of this work is the development of the first phase of a distribution system design of a non-existent company. The purpose of the company is to be an intermediary between suppliers and customers in the foodservice industry in Quito. It is intended, in this first design phase, to establish the operational foundation over which the design and planning of the short and mid-term operations will have to be made. This study focuses on establishing the operational guidelines of each of the four components of a distribution system: inventory, transportation, material storage and handling, and information system.
