Guided by the main objective of analyzing the collaboration of the flexible organization of the teaching activity in a private network in the psychic illness of teachers, this research carried out a qualitative investigation which was willing to use semi-structured interviews to obtain information from thirteen participants who work in private institutions in the city of Natal. The data collected were analyzed using the meaning nucleus method, which sought in the interviewees' statements, the perceptions they have regarding the reality they experience in their work environment. With the main findings of this investigation, it is possible to show that in the teaching activity there are factors that not only reveal a daily life that has aspects of a flexible work organization, but that also collaborate with the suffering and illness of this public. Such circumstances are found in the short time for rest, many activities to be carried out in a short time, tension in the work environment, and lack of material for differentiated classes.
