The article is devoted to the study of the problems and prospects of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of higher education, based on the retrospective method of scientific research. The chosen topic is relevant and allows us to address the main trends in the development of education between the Russian Federation and the People&amp;apos;s Republic of China, as well as to identify the causes of existing problems. The novelty lies in the fact that the paper for the first time studied the problem based on personal experience. Among the sources and literature, official documents and statistics were used both in Russian, Chinese and English.
