Serious improvement of efficiency management of Executive bodies of state power has traditionally been accompanied by automation of their activities for many years. In recent years, the rapid development of digital technologies that allow you to physically avoid distortions in the transmission of information and actually adapt to rapidly changing requirements, began to displace the concept of "automation" from the public vocabulary. By its essence, "digitalization" more broadly characterizes the ongoing positive changes in the processes of using information technologies to optimize management, increase labor productivity and quality of business results, shifting the value of more advanced technology to a real increase in the intellectual component of the proposed solutions. And it is precisely this new impact of digital products on business processes that radically increases the pace of changes in the world around us, including, of course, a huge increase in the requirements for the effectiveness of government power. In this paper, an attempt is made to demonstrate the advantages of these approaches for managing the effectiveness of Executive bodies of state power on the example of a model of their typical functionality.
