espanolVarias leyendas publicadas en la prensa espanola del siglo XIX son traducciones o adaptaciones de leyendas publicadas en libros y en periodicos franceses, que a su vez son traducciones de leyendas alemanas. Las fuentes remiten a personajes y acontecimientos de la Edad Media, aunque reinterpretados primero en el Renacimiento y despues en la epoca romantica. Se analizan ademas algunas de sus versiones iconograficas. EnglishSeveral legends published in the 19th century Spanish press are translations or adaptations of legends published in books and French newspapers, which in turn are translations of German legends. The sources refer to characters and events from the Middle Ages, although they were reinterpreted first in the Renaissance and later in the Romantic period.
