El museo como ente publico ha evolucionado desde su concepcion decimononica hasta nuestros dias. Este constante cambio fruto de la democratizacion de la cultura, de la educacion y los avances sociales han modificado notablemente la funcion originaria del  museo templo para convertirlo en un lugar destinado ademas de a la conservacion de las obras y la investigacion sobre las mismas, tambien en un espacio de aprendizaje, de ocio y de intercambio cultural. La propia institucion hace tiempo que se ha dado cuenta de este cambio de paradigma, por lo que destina importantes esfuerzos no solo a analizar los perfiles de sus visitantes sino tambien a la atraccion de nuevos publicos. The museum as a public entity has evolved from its conception in the nineteenth-century to the present day. This constant change resulting from the democratization of culture, education and social advances have notably modified the original function of the  temple-museum to turn it into a place destined in addition to the conservation of works and research on them, also in a space for learning, leisure and cultural exchange. The institution itself has long been aware of this paradigm shift, which is why it dedicates important efforts not only to analyze the profiles of its visitors but also to attract new audiences.
