In the paper grinding process has been studied on the machining martensitic steel 17-4PH for different grinding kinematic parameters in plunge cylindrical grinding. Grinding tests were carried out on cylindrical grinding machine with the use of vitrified grinding wheels. An analysis of influence of grinding conditions on surface roughness and changes of grinding force components is presented.
