Resumo: O presente ensaio e uma reflexao a respeito de possiveis relacoes entre direitos humanos, liberdade (de expressao), discurso de odio e exigencia de justica. O objetivo e mostrar alguns dos problemas em situar o debate a respeito da criminalizacao do discurso de odio no horizonte da concepcao moderna de liberdade (de expressao) e, de seu correlato, os direitos humanos universais, buscando outros marcos e referencias para se pensar o conjunto de questoes levantadas ao longo do trabalho. Palavras-chave: Direitos Humanos; Liberdade de Expressao; Discurso de Odio; Justica. Abstract: This essay is a reflection on the possible relationship between human rights, freedom (of expression), hate speech and the need for justice. The objective is to present some problems in placing the debate about hate speech criminalization on the horizon of the modern notion of freedom (of expression) and universal human rights, seeking other landmarks and references to think about the set of questions raised earlier.
