JEOLOJIK MIRAS ALANLARININ JEOTURIZM AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESI ÜZERINE BIR ARAŞTIRMA

Geological heritage refers to geocides that are rare and must be protected. Geotourism is described as visits and visits to geological heritage sites. Geotourism sustains and enhances the geographical character of a place, embracing the environment, heritage, aesthetics, culture, and well-being of its residents. Geotourism promotes behaviors such as buying local products, improving employee well-being, and donating to local causes. Within the scope of this research made by using national and international literature, geological heritage areas in the world and Turkey are examined in terms of geotourism and geoturism nets in global dimensions are mentioned. The main purpose of the study is to evaluate the geological heritage areas in Turkey in terms of geotourism. For this purpose, geocides and geoparks, which are primarily identified, are listed in partial terms. It has been observed that there is no legislation in the listed listings that protects the geological heritage sites at the national level and sets out the criteria for their detection and therefore the geocides can not be detected.
