The basis of modern democracy is to express their wishes and expectatiions througr political participation of citizens. Therefore, in order to be power in a democratic system must receive the support of the citizens. Thus, political parties both in the election campaign and inside the parliament is striving to gain the consent of citizens. Especially with the development of communication technologies, the face-to-face communication in the political field has been replaced by the communication established by mass media. the information needs of the citizens about the political figure are met by means of mass media. The mediating role of mass media at the outset leads to the design of the activities to gain the consent of the public in the political sense in the same way as the media logic. The traditional performance of politics getting a "new" state, to win the consent of the public in the political sense of turning into the activities carried out have led to sit on a floor can be created by media logic. The aim of this emprical research especially to define the from sample of Amasya University students to all young-first-time voters' political communication activitiy evolving towards "new politics" with the the mass communication technology. In the study, the effect of new politics is made clear with the questionnaire applied to the participants and also interpreted separately for the demographic characteristics.
