History of welding technology based on BC 2500 emerges as one of the manufacturing methods that have contributed significantly to the history of humanity with the rapid progress of the 20th century. Rapid development in welding technology has begun to find Sir Humprey Davy's first artwork. The development of welding technology has gained tremendous momentum, especially since it was used in war technology during the First and Second World Wars. In this study, briefly, the history of the source technologies will be given. In the last period of the Ottoman State, During the reign of Abdülhamit II, it was decided to establish some factories in the Ottoman Empire with the increase of the use of welding arc. Then came World War I and the destruction of more advanced welding technology and the Young Republic in the post-industrial breakthrough in this sense that the first year was the first year in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Selahattin Anık was born in the period and has played a particularly important role in the transfer of this technology to Turkey after training in Germany.
