Strategic planning is a process that needs to be done in all sectors and all levels of technology. Strategic planning is essential for the success and performance of the business. This study has been mentioned as a general concept from strategic planning and How does strategic planning in low-tech sectors? question were investigated. Strategic planning is investigated as formalization, participation, sophistication, thoroughness. This research is made on the Karaman confectionary sector. Confectionary sector is adopted as low-tech sector by OECD. As a result of research, strategic planning has not been effectively done and could not extent experience of managers in the different levels.
