In this work, a valid vocational belonging scale has been developed to determine the vocational belonging level of both government and private sector employees. To accomplish the task, a questionnaire with five-likert type scale of 39 items are prepared. The scale has been applied to 245 employees working in the field of religious education. The valid data obtained from 231 questionnaire is analyzed using the SPSS 22 program. Within the analysis, the validity and the reliability of the scale is investigated. The Cronbach-Alpha (α) value of the scale is found to be 0,945, the KMO test value is 0,916 and the Barlett’s test of sphericity is 0,00 and a factor analysis is applied to the scale. At the end of the analysis, the scale is divided into three factors with high reliability values. These factors are named as “vocational administration belonging”, “vocational organization belonging” and “vocational place belonging”. It is concluded that the scale of vocational belonging is a valid and reliable measurement instrument for both government and private sector employees that can determine the level of vocational belonging.
