In this research the main objective is propose the standardization of budgeting procedures and indicates a planning sector subordinated to Budget Management. As specifi c objectives: evaluate the defi nitions and attributions of the current budget sector, identify elements that can compose the budget manuals and propose methods for implementation of the planning coordination subordinated to Budget Management and its association with the project and execution sectors. A qualitative, participatory research was conducted. The result identifi ed that the standardization of budgeting procedures should ensure the agility and reliability of the products provided by the Budget Management, as well as promotes a reduction of losses, whether intellectual or fi nancial. Regarding the implementation of the planning sector, the results can reduce the operational and execution costs of the projects in the company are high, besides the time required to complete them.
