This paper talks about COVID-19 and its impact on concrete construction. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. This pandemic has brought a lot of changes in the concrete construction industry like the cleanliness and safety of the job is going to increase to a very high level. The demand of projects would also change as the demand for hospitals is increasing at a rapid rate. Social distancing is going to be a key factor against COVID-19. There would be an increase in online work to maintain social distancing and the duration of projects may also increase due to decrease in production of concrete. There are certain norms set up by the government to fight against COVID19. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has also given some safety guidelines. Big organizations such as OSHA have also provided some guidelines. Due to COVID-19 there it is expected that the labor costs may increase and investments in concrete industry may decrease.
