In the framework of the Fibre Bundle Model we explore the effect of mixed-mode load transfer in two-dimensional arrays of nanopillars. The mixed-mode load redistribution scheme serves as an interpolation between limiting cases, namely global and local transfer. Two types of loading processes are employed i.e. quasi-static and sudden loading. By varying the weight parameter, we identify two behaviours: the GLS and LLS regime. As a regime indicator we use distribution of critical loads and function fitting probability of system breakdown. MSC 2010: 82D30, 82D80, 65Z05
