In numerous cases of patients who report voice problems there are no significant pathologies of the vo cal folds. However, we observe major activity in the subglottic part connected with structures placed directly over the vocal folds. The movements include adduction movement of the false vocal folds directed medially to the larynx, called also ventricular vocal folds compression and drawing the basis of epiglottis and arytenoid cartilages near and medially to the larynx, described also as anterior-posterior constriction (AP). They are accompanied by movements of throat. Aim: Aim of this paper is to elaborate assessment criteria for the larynx vestibule and laryngopharynx based on videofi beroscopic evaluation of randomly chosen people.
