The main goal of this research was to establish a situational analysis in the gestation stage of mothers in Piura city. In this way, a simple descriptive study was carried out. The study sample consisted about 2,385 pregnant mothers from the same city; which were selected in a simple random way, where were visited different gynecology outpatient clinics in hospitals from the city. The indicators that were evaluated were: index of planned pregnancies, index of economic support of the couple, index of emotional support of the couple, index of the state of readiness of the mother to educate her son, index of the difficult days that passed the pregnant mothers to the bad reaction of their relatives when they realized they were pregnant, the age index where they had their first child and the index of the months they realized they were pregnant. The results reveal 44.6% did not plan their pregnancy, however the economic support by the couple is 65.4%, while the emotional support by the couple is 59.8%. In the same way regarding the state of readiness of the mother to educate her son is 40.4%. On the other hand, it could be established that 45.4% of pregnant mothers had very difficult moments when their relatives realized they were pregnant. This research also revealed the average age (13.41%) in which they had their first child was at age 20, finally 39.16% of the mothers reported knowing their pregnancy status from one month to one month and a half.
