This research has the objective of knowing the behavioral and socioeconomic problems present in the Elementary School Enrique Morales Pumarica, located in the Los Alamos urban area, relating them to architecture to propose criteria that have a positive impact in front of these problems. It is important because it will allow to have a project to improve the infrastructure and educational quality, for a better educational, economic and social development of the student. Behavioral problems, and social environment were identified; and socioeconomic, as an economic characteristic and social problems in the students; and observation sheets to analyze the dimensions and architectural criteria of the school according to the Technical Standard for the design of school premises and aspects at the discretion of the author to identify in detail the problems afflicting the school. The results affirmed that the students have socioeconomic and behavioral problems influenced by their social environment; In the observation sheets, deficiencies in its design, architectural, pedagogical and structural criteria are demonstrated. According to the results, it is concluded and recommended that multigrade schools have an adequate and similar programming to the urban area schools, so as not to limit education, as well as to expand the terrain, following architectural criteria that benefit the student.
