Moringa oleífera Lam. "Moringa", is considered a miraculous plant, since all its parts can be used and for possessing innumerable properties and uses. Despite having many properties there are few morphometric works, which are the first step for further work. In view of the importance of the subject, the present work aimed to perform morphometry of seeds and fruits of Moringa oleifera. The fruits came from the province of Sechura Piura, while the work was carried out in the Biotechnology Laboratory of the Institute of Potato and Andean Crops of the National University of Trujillo. In the 30 selected fruits an average of 1.96 ± 0.238 cm wide, 32.80 ± 3.384 cm long, 17 ± 2.440 seeds per fruit and 9.672 ± 2.992 g per fruit without seeds was found. In the same way in the seeds an average of 1.16 ± 0.123 cm in length, 1.09 ± 0.082 cm wide, 0.28 ± 0.055 g in each seed and 12.55 ± 1.231 g contained in 50 seeds was found. It is concluded that Moringa oleifera possesses a fruit and seed morphometry characteristic of its species, except in the number of seeds per kilogram that a considerable difference is found.
