The need for this research is that there is no computerized system that allows an adequate control of the documentary archive, so it was carried out in order to determine if the installation of the archival ICT system improves the documentary file of the Organ of Institutional Control (OCI) of the Regional Government of La Libertad (GRLL), period 2017. It is necessary to specify that this technology was designed for the methodological and systematic ordering of both virtual and physical documentation; having a sample of 30 auditors of said OCI, under the convenience method, for the application of the questionnaire and obtaining the data; In addition, reliability was obtained with Cronbach's alpha of 0.980. Computers were used to elaborate the system; Likewise, the file was compared before it was available and after using it, being a quantitative research of pre-experimental design. As a result, the system allowed significant improvement in document custody of the OCI file both physically and virtually. It was concluded that the documentary archive improved significantly by 67.92%, with high levels of improvement, so this work will serve as a precedent for future research.
