The present investigation was carried out in the ice plant "PRC S.A.C.", whose activity is the production and commercialization of ice mainly used in the fishing industry; is to study the current steam compression refrigeration system with intercooler. Then, steam compression refrigeration system with system of scale of compressors will be analyzed. These evaluations have the purpose of determining the exergetic efficiency through the irreversibilities, in such a way that allows us to compare and have an improvement in the performance coefficient. Subsequently, and finally, a thermoeconomic evaluation of these systems will be carried out, allowing the company to analyze the suitability under study, by reducing its production costs efficiently using its production processes, providing quality products, and being competitive in the market. It is evident that when performing a thermoexergetic evaluation the steam compression refrigeration system with system of scale of compressors, it will be possible to increase the exegetical efficiency, reduce the irreversibilities and the exergy destroyed, especially it will increase the COP in 8.28% which allows a reduction of the freezing time of the ice in 22.25% or 3 hours and 45 minutes. Además de obtener un ahorro en el consumo de energía eléctrica equivalente a 2 800.00 S/. in the next 12 months.
