Ozonolysis of 1,5,9-cyclododecatriene leads to prepare some unsaturated compounds with the required isolated (Z,Z)-double bonds configuration, which isreadily converted into a range of polyunsaturated pheromones and as useful intermediate compounds in many chemical reactions. The products were diagnosed by using NMR spectrum, infrared (IR) and mass spectrometer techniques.
