Currently, there is an acute issue concerning large-panel buildings of the first massive construction both in Russia and in Irkutsk Oblast, specifically with a series of 1-335 in all its modifications. There are about 400 such buildings in Irkutsk. The minimum required volumes for recovery in the city are more than 700 thousand square meters of total area. The operating life of these houses is about 30 years, which already suggests that they are not suitable for life. Also, I will support this statement by the fact that the panels were made of aerated concrete (performing the function of bearing and self-supporting walls), which both contributes to harmful effects on the residents organisms and to the condition of the building itself, as the aerated concrete in course of time reacted with reinforcement, which it almost completely destroyed. Numerous examinations confirm the presence of defects, destruction of materials and damages. The above-mentioned points at the need of reconstructing the buildings of the of Soviet construction. At the same time, it is necessary to consider the problems that will arise in construction organizations involved in the renovation and integrated development of territories occupied by dilapidated and substandard housing in the new context of project financing instead of shared construction.
