The fight against illicit traffic in drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues is carried out both in establishing legal norms determining juridical liability for committing crimes and administrative violations in this sphere and in regulating the procedural activity of the law enforcement bodies performing counteraction to the illicit traffic of the said substances. The crimes in this field are specifically dangerous publicly, that is why their revealing must be the subject careful attention of the enforcers. The article draws a conclusion that a possibility to qualify the deed truly, to investigate all facts in the case greatly depends on the correctness of procedural drawing-up of the revealed crime. The district police officers are universal enforcers, therefore in their operational activity management is necessary to pay attention to specifics of the signs of crimes, to executing the information on criminal acts in the sphere of illicit traffic of drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues.
