Regarding the choose of the statistical test, we followed the international consensus already published by the COSMIN group2 for the report of this research design. We assumed that the reliability comes from a single predictor variable, i.e. the attitude of the dentist, and this variable account for all the common variance of the indicator and all loadings must be the same, the tau-equivalence. Dr Simancas propose the Mac Donald Omega. Actually, there are two omega coefficients. In any case, if the assumptions of alpha are not violated, as the actual case, Omega and alpha will yield the same result. The assumptions and the COSMIN recommendations guide our selection of the statistical tests. About the sample size, as stated, this must be considered as a exploratory study, and as suggested, further research could assess this questionnaire in other Spanish-speaking countries. The aim of the report was to validate the transcultural adaptation of the test, and not the development of the questionnaire itself, since the development of the questionnaire was done by Morgan et al.3
