espanolLas actividades de las empresas estan en el origen de muchos danos ambientales que acaban impactando negativamente en los derechos humanos. Diversos tipos de iniciativas de caracter internacional pretenden regular las actuaciones de las empresas para evitar estas consecuencias para el medio ambiente y los derechos humanos. Aunque estos instrumentos internacionales tienen formalmente el caracter de soft law, establecen una serie de deberes (sustantivos y procesales) exigibles a las empresas. Este trabajo de investigacion pretende identificar y examinar esos deberes a los efectos de determinar su contenido y alcance a fin de poder compararlos con los exigidos a los Estados en este tipo de situaciones. EnglishBusiness activities are the source of many environmental damages just a negative impact on human rights. Various types of international initiatives seek to regulate the activities of companies to avoid these consequences for the environment and human rights. While these international instruments have a soft law character, they establish a set of duties (substantive and procedural) due to companies. This research aims to identify and examine those duties for the purpose of determining the content and scope in order to compare them with those required to States in such situations.
