OZET: Bu arastirma, Ordu’da yetistirilebilecek yuksek verimli patates cesitlerinin belirlenmesi amaciyla yapilmistir. Deneme, 1999 ve 2000 yillarinda Ordu ili Gurgentepe ilcesinde uretici arazisinde yapilmistir. Calismanin her iki yilinda da degisik olumlu 12 patates cesidi materyal olarak kullanilmistir. Tesaduf bloklari deneme planina gore 3 tekerrurlu olarak yurutulen bu arastirmada, incelenen patates cesitlerinin verimleri iki yillik verilerin ortalamasi olarak 1390-2840 kg/da arasinda degismistir. Arastirmadan elde edilen sonuclara gore, en yuksek yumru verimi Cosmos (2840 kg/da), Yerli (2520 kg/da) ve Hermes (2200 kg /da) cesitlerinden, en dusuk yumru verimi ise Marfona cesidinden (1390 kg /da) elde edilmistir. Denemenin iki yillik sonuclarina gore Cosmos cesidi arastirmanin yurutuldugu bolge icin umitvar cesit olarak tespit edilmis olup, bolgede uretilmesi tavsiye edilmistir. Determination of Some Agricultural and Technological Traits of Potato Varieties in Different Ripening Periods (Solanum tuberosum L.) under Ordu Ecological Conditions ABSTRACT: This study was carried out to determiner potato varieties, which will be able to give high yields in Ordu. Field trials were done at the grower fields in Gurgentepe, district of Ordu, in the years 1999 and 2000. 12 potato varieties ripening differently were used as a seedling material both two experimental years. Field trials were designed in randomized completely block design with three replications. Yields of different potato varieties changed between 1.39-2.84 t/da as two year- averages. According to results, the highest tuber yields were obtained from the varieties of Cosmos (2.84 t/da) and Yerli (2.52 t/da), the lowest yield values were resulted in the variety of Marfona (1.39 t/da). As a result of two years, the Cosmos potato variety gave the best yields and was recommended for production in Ordu ecological conditions. Key Words: Potato, variety, tuber yield.
