Esta investigacion cualitativa tuvo como objetivo sistematizar una estrategia pedagogica utilizada para desarrollar el pensamiento critico de los estudiantes a traves de la didactica no parametral en la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Seccional Monteria, teniendo la observacion participante, la entrevista semiestructurada y la revision documental como tecnicas de recoleccion de informacion. Las conclusiones mostraron que la estrategia pedagogica implementada por la docente contribuyo al desarrollo de las cuatro habilidades del ingles; y asi mismo que los estudiantes reconocen el aprendizaje adquirido sobre las realidades sociales abordadas y de la manera como pueden solucionarlas desde su rol social. No obstante, la pobreza del vocabulario dificulta la participacion de algunos estudiantes en la actividad. Abstract This was a qualitative research project whose aim was to sistematize a pedagogical strategy to develop students’ critical thinking in Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Monteria. Semi-structured interviews, participant observation and documentary review were used to collect information. Findings showed that the strategy utilized by the profesor contributed to the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Moreover, students recognized the importance of dealing with social realities and finding alternatives to solve those problems. However, learners considered that their participation in this kind of activity is dificult due to the lack of vocabulary.
