El presente articulo es de revision bibliografica, cuyo objetivo consistio en analizar la literatura sobre la competitividad y estructura organizacional de las pymes del sector alimento en Barranquilla, desde una perspectiva conceptual, con un diseno de investigacion transversal y descriptivo, de enfoque cualitativo se aplico el metodo analitico, bajo la tecnica de revision documental, donde se consultaron aproximadamente 60 fuentes, bases de datos, articulos cientificos, tomando como poblacion objeto de estudios las empresas del sector alimentos, vinculadas a la Asociacion Colombiana de Pequenos y Medianos Empresarios (ACOPI). Se utilizaron los instrumentos lista de chequeo y una rubrica de evaluacion de la informacion. Se concluyo que de acuerdo con la revision bajo una perspectiva conceptual las organizaciones de las Pymes del sector alimentos, presentas aspectos por mejorar en su estructura organizacional para ser mas competitivas en el mercado de la ciudad de Barranquilla. ABSTRACT This is a literature review article aiming at analyzing the bibliography on competitiveness and organizational structure of SMEs, Food Industry, in Barranquilla, from a conceptual perspective, designing a transversal and descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, applying analytical method under the paper review technique where an average of 60 sources were consulted, data bases, scientific articles, taking as a target population the companies of the food industry linked to Colombian Association of Small and Medium-sized Industries (ACOPI). It was used as instruments the checklist and a rubric for assessment of information. It is concluded according to the review that under a conceptual perspective, the organizations of SMEs in the food Industry present aspects to improve in their organizational structures in order to become more competitive in the Barranquilla city market.
