The central argument presented in the article is that user embracement is a fundamental condition for the achievement of the right of education in the EJA modality. In order to do so, we have done a case study qualitative research and a bibliographic review about the conception and the practice of user embracement at Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental (Municipal School of Primary Education) Porto Alegre – EPA located in Porto Alegre / RS. This school receives young and adult homeless people. As a conclusion, the main attributes and pedagogical guidelines of what is known as user embracement at the EPA are presented, and political-conceptual elements about this subject are selected.&#x0D;Keywords: Youth and Adult Education; Homeless People; User embracement.
