In this study, cement slurry infiltrated fiber concrete (SIFCON) the affect of the different geometry and the material structure of the fibers (unlike the two ended hook fibers generally used in SIFCON) to the mechanical and physical properties of SIFCON are investigated. For this purpose samples are subjected to tests regarding pressure and flexibility, fracture toughness, ultrasonic pulse velocity, schmidt hardness scale. As a result the mechanical properties of steel fibers having the wavy geometry, had better results than polypropylene fibers when analyzed in terms of unit cost of strength, was found to be more economical. Despite the lower strength, the use of polypropylene fibers was found to be appropriate where there is a high risk of corrosion .
