Rapunzel syndrome represents a rare presentation of trichobezoar where the tail of main gastric bezoar extends into the lumen of small intestine. We present the case of a 09 year old female child who presented to us as a case of acute intestinal obstruction as a rare manifestation of Rapunzel syndrome, with migration of gastric bezoar into the small intestine. Successful surgical retrieval was performed in emergency scenario and the patient had an uneventful recovery.
