The article analyzes the networking of young itinerant farmers, an emerging feature of the horticultural sector in Algeria. This analysis is based on data from a survey of 108 potato producers in the region of Aflou, Laghouat Province. Through their networks, these producers act as "connectors" between markets and territories. Through their production and strong personal ties in input and product markets (often imperfect or absent locally), they relate markets and scattered production areas. They establish these connections to produce their own crops, but also act as intermediaries, creating a ripple effect on the local agricultural economy.
