The calanoid copepod Euchaeta paraconcinna Fleminger, 1957 is reported from Camamu Bay, state of Bahia, northeastern Brazil (14o02'49"S; 38o52'58"W). Three females were collected by vertical hauls with a plankton net of 200 µm mesh size. This is a new record for this species in northeastern Brazil.
