El artículo trata acerca de la presencia feminista en el II Foro Social Mundial, realizado en Porto Alegre, a fines de enero y principio de febrero de 2002. En el marco de los discursos y prácticas de oposición a la globalización neoliberal hegemónica, los movimientos de mujeres y feministas colocaron en el centro del debate diferentes aspectos de la interrelación entre patriarcado y capitalismo desde distintos enfoques y estrategias. The article is about the presence of feminists at the II World Social Forum, organized in Porto Alegre at the end of January and the beginning of February 2002. Among the discurses and practices of oposition to the hegemonic neoliberal globalization, women's and feminist's movements put in the centre of the debate different aspects of the interrelation between patriarchy and capitalism from different points of view and strategies
