O objetivo deste trabalho foi estimar as correlações genotípicas e fenotípicas entre 25 características morfológicas e agronômicas de folhas, flores e frutos de maracujazeiro. Assim, 17 acessos de germoplasma foram avaliados em delineamento de blocos ao acaso, com duas repetições e dez plantas úteis por parcela. Os dados foram padronizados e em seguida estimados os coeficientes de correlação fenotípica (r f) e genotípica (r g). Noventa correlações fenotípicas (30%) foram significativas pelo teste t, e em 83% dos casos, as correlações foram superiores a 0,60. Os resultados demonstram alta correlação genotípica entre as seguintes características: a) comprimento do androginóforo vs. largura da folha (r g = -0,61); b) espessura de casca vs. comprimento do pecíolo (r g = 0,98); c) rendimento de polpa sem as sementes vs. comprimento do pecíolo e da largura da pétala, ambas com r g de -0,88; d) teor de sólidos solúveis totais vs largura de frutos (r g = -0,72); e e) massa de frutos vs. largura dos frutos e do peso de casca (r g = -0,88 e 0,91, respectivamente). Embora os genótipos avaliados não sejam de uma população única, a seleção indireta para as características supracitadas é facilitada, pois a correlação genotípica foi superior à fenotípica. The objective of this study was to estimate the genotypic and phenotypic correlations among 25 morphological and agronomic characteristics of leaves, flowers and fruits of passion plants. Seventeen germplasm accessions were evaluated in a randomized block design with two replications and ten plants per plot. The data were standardized and phenotypic (r p) and genotypic (r g) correlation coefficients were estimated. Ninety phenotypic correlations (30%) were significant by t-test and 83% of correlations were above 0.60. The results showed a high genotypic correlation among the following characteristics: a) androgynophore length vs. leaf width (r g = -0.61); b) peel thickness vs. petiole length (r g = 0.98); c) pulp yield without seed vs. petiole length and petal width, both with r g -0.88; d) total soluble solids vs. fruit width (r g = -0.72), and e) weight of fruit vs. fruit width and peel weight (r g = -0.88 and 0.91, respectively).
