New polymer electrolyte films of Methacrylic Acid Ethyl Acrylate (MAA:EA) copolymer embedded with different concentrations of VO2+ ions were prepared by solution casting technique. Thermal properties of these films were investigated employing differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Electrical conductivity of the films was measured with impedance analyzer in the frequency range of 1 Hz to 1 MHz and in the temperature range of 30 70 oC. It was observed that the magnitude of conductivity increased with the increase in the salt concentration as well as the temperature.
