脳卒中片麻痺患者の相反抑制作用について足関節随意背屈時の拮抗筋支配のH波振幅の変化から検索を行った。結果は(1)健常群ではH波振幅は減少した。(2)脳卒中片麻痺群ではH波振幅は有意に増加し病的な同時収縮の形態を示した。(3)痙性の程度を表すSpasticityとH波振幅の変化率の間には正の相関がみられた。この脳卒中片麻痺群における同時収縮の形態は上位中枢からの開放や脊髄内でのover flowを経て閾値の低い伸筋支配のα運動細胞により優位に作用した結果であると推測された。また痙性の程度が高い者ほど拮抗筋支配のα運動細胞の興奮性が高まる傾向にあった。
