〔目的〕運動器疾患患者が歩行練習や筋力強化練習時に息切れや易疲労性を訴えることは多い。本研究は心疾患症状を有した変形性膝関節症患者に対して変形性膝関節症に対する理学療法プログラムを実施し循環応答とBorg指数の変化を検討した。〔対象〕 当院に入院または外来受診した患者35名うち男性5名とした。〔方法〕 変形性膝関節症に対する理学療法を週4回の割合で4週間実施した。循環応答の計測は1分間の連続立ち座り動作後に実施した。〔結果〕 4週目の連続立ち座り動作後の収縮期血圧脈圧二重積は1週目と比較して有意な低下が認められた。さらにBorg指数も有意な低下が認められた。〔結論〕変形性膝関節症が存在しその症状に対する介入が心疾患を併存する患者であっても有用であった。
