今回健常男子11名を対象として重量物の持ち上げ動作時の脊柱起立筋の活動について筋電計を用いて双極誘導で導出した。重量物の質量は被験者の体重kgの51530の3種類とし床面から身長の1/2の高さの台へ持ち上げさせた。その結果「準備期」および「持ち上げ期」ともに質量不明の重量物を取り扱う際のMVCが大きな数値を示した。これらのことから1重量物の質量が分からない場合被験者が質量を過大評価することにより筋が過剰に反応し疲労につながる可能性が認められた。2重量物取り扱い作業における質量表示の有効性が示唆された。
