E-mail: ailtonjuniortid@hotmail.com 1 RESUMO No presente trabalho foi utilizado um sistema hidroponico com os canais de cultivo em nivel, objetivando-se avaliar o crescimento e producao do coentro (cv. Verdao) em funcao de densidades de semeadura e diâmetros dos canais hidroponicos. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados, em esquema fatorial 2x5 com cinco repeticoes, totalizando 50 unidades experimentais. Foram estudados os canais hidroponicos com diâmetros de 50 e 75 mm e cinco densidades de semeadura por celula de cultivo (12, 24, 36, 48 e 60 sementes). As avaliacoes foram realizadas aos 5, 10, 15, 20 e 25 dias apos o transplantio (DAT), obtendo-se: altura de planta, diâmetro do caule, massas de materia fresca e seca da parte aerea, das folhas, do caule por planta e da materia fresca da parte aerea do maco de plantas. As melhores respostas em crescimento e rendimento por planta de coentro foram obtidas com a densidade de 12 sementes. Aos 5, 10, 15 e 20 DAT a massa de materia fresca da parte aerea do maco de plantas aumentou linearmente com o incremento na densidade de semeadura e aos 25 DAT nao houve efeito significativo (p>0,05). Os canais hidroponicos de cultivo de 75 mm de diâmetro foram os mais adequados para cultivar o coentro. Palavras-chave: Coriandrum sativum L., cultivo sem solo, perfis hidroponicos. SILVA, M. Verdao) growth and production as  function of the seeding densities and diameters of hydroponic channels. The experiment was carried out in a randomized block design with five replicates, totaling 50 experimental units. Hydroponic channels with two diameters (50 and 75 mm) and five seeding densities per cell of cultivation (12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 seeds) were studied. Plant height, stem diameter, fresh and dry weight of shoot, leaves and  stem per plant and fresh weight of shoot of the bunch of plants were evaluated at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 days after transplanting (DAT). The best responses in growth and yield of coriander per plant were obtained in treatment with 12 seeds density . At 5, 10, 15 and 20 DAT the fresh weight of shoot of the bunch of plants increased linearly with increase in seeding density, and at 25 DAT there was no significant difference (p>0.05). Hydroponic channels of 75 mm diameter were the most appropriate for cultivating coriander. Keywords: Coriandrum sativum L., soilless cultivation, hydroponic profiles.
